Wizards' Beal questionable Tuesday vs. Thunder
Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to CSN Mid-Atlantic's J. Michael.
The 22-year-old rising star injured his left shoulder during Saturday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, although head coach Randy Wittman has said the injury is only a contusion.
Beal - who projects to become a first-time All-Star this year if his incremental improvement continues - has played exceptionally well thus far this season.
The fourth-year man is averaging 22.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and one steal while nailing an impressive 47.1 percent of his 3-point attempts during the early stages of the 2015-16 campaign.
While missing Tuesday's game would not necessarily put a significant dent in his bid for a spot in February's mid-season exhibition in Toronto, it would knock him out of a much-anticipated clash with Washington's favorite non-Wizard.
