DFS: Week 8 Wide Receiver Value Rankings
Here are theScore's wide receiver value rankings for Week 8 (Thursday night and Sunday morning games excluded):
Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top 5
| # | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Antonio Brown (PIT) | vs. CIN | Low |
| 2 | Keenan Allen (SD) | at BAL | Low |
| 3 | A.J. Green (CIN) | at PIT | Low |
| 4 | Alshon Jeffery (CHI) | vs. MIN | Low |
| 5 | Stefon Diggs (MIN) | at CHI | Low |
Enjoy whatever discount you'll get on Brown this week; with Ben Roethlisberger expected back, Brown is in line for a big game against the visiting Bengals. He won't be this cheap the rest of the season. Allen and Green should thrive in plus matchups, while a well-rested Jeffery is a top-5 play in all DFS formats against the visiting Vikings.

Next 5
| # | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) | vs. TEN | Low |
| 7 | Julio Jones (ATL) | vs. TB | Low |
| 8 | Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG) | at NO | Low |
| 9 | Demaryius Thomas (DEN) | vs. GB | Low |
| 10 | Mike Evans (TB) | at ATL | Low |
Hopkins, Jones and Beckham all have sky-high floors and can be trusted despite their exorbitant price tags. Thomas is now close enough in salary to teammate Emmanuel Sanders to warrant consideration ahead of him; Thomas has the higher floor of the two. Evans broke out in a big way last week, and should carry that momentum into a divisional matchup with the Falcons.

Best of the Rest
| # | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11 | Brandon Marshall (NYJ) | at OAK | Medium |
| 12 | Larry Fitzgerald (ARI) | at CLE | Medium |
| 13 | Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) | vs. GB | Medium |
| 14 | Steve Smith Sr. (BAL) | vs. SD | Medium |
| 15 | Kendall Wright (TEN) | at HOU | Medium |
| 16 | Dez Bryant (DAL) | vs. SEA | Medium |
| 17 | Nate Washington (HOU) | vs. TEN | Medium |
| 18 | T.Y. Hilton (IND) | at CAR | Medium |
| 19 | James Jones (GB) | at DEN | Medium |
| 20 | Willie Snead (NO) | vs. NYG | Medium |
| 21 | Rueben Randle (NYG) | at NO | Medium |
| 22 | Mike Wallace (MIN) | at CHI | Medium |
| 23 | Amari Cooper (OAK) | vs. NYJ | Medium |
| 24 | Eric Decker (NYJ) | at OAK | Medium |
| 25 | John Brown (ARI) | at CLE | Medium |
We see plenty of tough matchups for receivers in this tier; Fitzgerald and Brown have to contend with a tough Browns pass defense, while Bryant makes his likely Week 8 return against the visiting Seahawks. Hilton could struggle to reach value in a road date with the menacing Panthers, while Jones and the Packers have a tough test against the host Broncos.

| 26 | Randall Cobb (GB) | at DEN | High |
| 27 | Donte Moncrief (IND) | at CAR | High |
| 28 | Brandin Cooks (NO) | vs. NYG | High |
| 29 | Travis Benjamin (CLE) | vs. ARI | High |

| 31 | Martavis Bryant (PIT) | vs. CIN | High |
| 32 | Tavon Austin (STL) | vs. SF | High |
| 33 | Marvin Jones (CIN) | at PIT | High |
| 34 | Anquan Boldin (SF) | at STL | High |
| 35 | Kamar Aiken (BAL) | vs. SD | High |
| 36 | Davante Adams (GB) | at DEN | High |
| 37 | Roddy White (ATL) | vs. TB | High |
| 38 | Marquess Wilson (CHI) | vs. MIN | High |
| 39 | Ted Ginn Jr. (CAR) | vs. IND | High |
| 40 | Doug Baldwin (SEA) | at DAL | High |
Saddled with a difficult Week 8 matchup, a still-high price tag and a diminished role in a more balanced offense, Cobb is a DFS afterthought this week. Austin is a tantalizing sleeper option against a terrible 49ers defense, though the Rams might just decide to run the ball 40 times. Aiken might have sleeper potential as the Ravens' No. 2 option in what could be a shootout.
