Report: Flyers, Daniel Briere in talks about position with organization

The Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly in the process of bringing retired forward Daniel Briere back to the team.
Briere approached Flyers president Paul Holmgren about a role with the club and they're discussing a position, Flyers general manager Ron Hextall told CSN Philadelphia's Tim Panaccio.
The 37-year-old announced his retirement last month after 17 NHL seasons, six of which were spent with the Flyers.
Briere scored 307 goals and added 389 assists in 973 career games with the Phoenix Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres, Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, and Colorado Avalanche.
He scored 124 of those goals with Philadelphia, adding 30 points during the Flyers' 23-game run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2010.
