Cristiano Ronaldo fans won't have to wait long to get an inside look at the Portuguese superstar's life away from the pitch.

A trailer for the documentary, "Ronaldo: Astonishing. Intimate. Definitive." was released Monday and offers an intimate glimpse at the sacrifices his mother made to ensure her son's dreams could be made possible and the struggle to balance his career and relationship with his son.

The trailer offers a pair of tidbits that will provoke various emotions from admirers and opponents.

One moment captures a jubilant Ronaldo asking, "Tell me who's the best player in the world?"

And quickly responding, "Me!" before breaking into hysterics.

The trailer concludes with a personal moment with his son, aptly named Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., where the youngster appears to troll his old man when he says he prefers to be a goalkeeper in the future.

To which dad responds, "A goalkeeper? Are you joking?"
