VIDEO: KVC Westerlo's Visnakovs' epic miss on tap-in goal

Belgian Pro League side KVC Westerlo's striker Eduards Visnakovs has joined a prestigious list of nominees for this year's worst goal attempt after a farcical miss Friday during a 4-2 loss to Zulte Waregem.
With a befallen Waregem shot-stopper Sammy Bossut out of the picture, all that was required of the Latvian international striker was a simple left-footed touch.
Instead, the 25-year-old Riga native played an attempt that ran perfectly parallel to the goal-line and out of touch.
If it's any consolation for Visnakovs, at least he has St. Johnstone's Stevan MacLean and Sheffield Wednesday's Sergiu Bus to commiserate with when it comes to the year's worst misses.
