Kevin Durant: 'I'm still the best player in the world'

Kevin Durant isn't short on confidence.
The Oklahoma City Thunder forward said last month he feels he's the best player in the world. When somebody asked him about it on his recent trip to Spain, he didn't hesitate to stand by his opinion.
"Yes, I'm still the best player in the world," Durant said.
The six-time All-Star has a point, but LeBron James may have something to say about that with his resume over the past decade, and so would reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry.
However, now in the prime of his career, the mantle is there for Durant to take. Last year's injuries amounted to a lost season for the soon-to-be 27-year-old, and he'll be looking to replicate his 2013-14 season, when he was the league MVP.
