The Tampa Bay Lightning have invited goaltender Ray Emery and forward Ryan Martindale to training camp on professional tryouts, according to Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune.
Emery spent last season with the Philadelphia Flyers, appearing in 31 games while going 10-11-7 with a .894 save percentage and 3.06 goals-against average.
Meanwhile, Martindale, drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 2010, has yet to play an NHL game. The 23-year-old spent last season in the AHL, splitting his time between the San Antonio Rampage and Syracuse Crunch, the Lightning's affiliate.
Martindale finished the year with 16 goals and 27 points in 64 games between both clubs.
