Morris took to Twitter on Thursday to reiterate his desire to be out of Phoenix by the start of the season. "My future will not be in Phoenix," Morris tweeted.

Analysis:

The long-winded battle between Morris and the Suns continues, all stemming from the team's trade of Markieff's twin brother, Marcus, to the Pistons this offseason. Morris, Markieff that is, is upset that the Suns traded Marcus without his consent. The twins took less-than-market-value contracts with the Suns just last year in order to remain together. Now that Marcus is gone, Markieff has vowed that he will not be in Suns' uniform this season. He is under contract through the 2018-19 season with Phoenix, and the Suns have yet to show any interest in granting a trade. This means things could get ugly and definitely more bizarre once the season gets underway. Morris averaged 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.7 three-pointers in 32 minutes per game for 82 regular season games last season. At this point, it's difficult to imagine him sticking around, but his public pleas to be dealt certainly are not helping his trade value.
