Toronto FC midfielder Benoit Cheyrou had his 401 Derby day cut short as he left the field on the half-hour mark against the Montreal Impact on Saturday with a heel injury.

Cheyrou picked up the injury after a rough collision in midfield and while he looked like he would continue in the match, he signalled for the change five minutes later.

Cheyrou was replaced by U.S. forward Jozy Altidore as Toronto FC boss Greg Vanney tried to adjust his formation to accommodate the loss. Toronto FC would go on to win the match 2-1, Altidore scoring the game-winning goal.
