VIDEO: Jabari Parker recovering nicely from ACL injury, posterizes young children

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker's recovery from a torn ACL appears to be coming along swimmingly.

Parker is back on the court, and by the looks of it, the former second overall pick is busy refining his game against terrified children.

The 20-year-old took off for a vicious one-handed slam and landed without a hitch on his injured left leg.

It's an encouraging sign that Parker is dunking and looking healthy, but the Bucks still plan to bring him along slowly.

As general manager John Hammond explained, Parker will be gently eased back into action.

I get asked two questions every single day. No. 1 is, how's Jabari? And No. 2: How soon will Jabari be back to play?

I answer the first one very easily and say he's doing absolutely great. His rehab is going well. The second answer: We're going to be very conservative with him. If we think he's capable of playing 20, we'll maybe play him 10 minutes. If we think he can play a back-to-back, we'll wait on the back-to-back. Whatever it is, we're going to be very cautious as he move(s) forward because of the magnitude of who he can be and who we hope he can be for our organization going forward.

Parker averaged 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent from the field in his rookie campaign.
