Brett Lawrie is finally turning the corner after a mediocre July and a slow start to August.
The Oakland Athletics third baseman destroyed a Scott Feldman offering in the fifth inning of the club's 5-4 loss to the Houston Astros on Thursday night as part of a 2-for-4 effort at the plate.

Lawrie hit .241/.267/.337 in July with just a pair of homers, but he's showing signs of life with RBIs in each of his last three contests.
