Report: Titans expect Justin Hunter to take part in training camp

The Tennessee Titans are going to let the legal process play out and expect wide receiver Justin Hunter to take part in training camp, according to Ed Werder of ESPN.

Hunter was charged with felonious assault Monday after a July 3 fight at a bar in Virginia Beach, Va.

Released on a $25,000 bond Tuesday, Hunter allegedly punched a victim multiple times causing broken bones and other minor injuries, not stab wounds as was originally reported.

This is the first off-field incident for Hunter which may be why he's getting the benefit of the doubt from the organization. His play stagnated last season and head coach Ken Whisenhunt has publicly called out the underachieving prospect.

"At some point, you either get it, or you won't be in this league anymore. That's the natural order of the NFL," Whisenhunt said of Hunter in May.
