Manu Ginobili officially re-signs with Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs have officially re-signed veteran shooting guard Manu Ginobili, the team announced Monday.
He will reportedly earn $5.7 million on a two-year deal, which includes a second-year player option.

Ginobili, who turns 38 next week, thought long and hard about retiring but ultimately signed for at least one more run at a fourth NBA title. The Argentine wasn't on the team when the franchise won their first championship in 1999.
Last postseason, Ginobili passed Michael Jordan for 11th all-time in postseason wins. It gave Ginobili, along with teammates Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, the most playoff victories by a trio in NBA history. He averaged 10.5 points, three rebounds, 4.2 assists, and one steal in 22.7 minutes last season.
