With DeAndre Jordan back in the fold, the Los Angeles Clippers can drop their pursuit of JaVale McGee and chase more sensible targets.
One such target is free-agent forward Darrell Arthur, who is reportedly on the Clippers' radar along with Cole Aldrich and Josh Smith.
Was told "there is interest both ways" between Clippers/free agent forward Darrell Arthur, but no offer so far.

The 27-year-old Arthur would give the Clippers a nice two-way frontcourt contributor off the bench.
On offense, Arthur is a trigger-happy big who loves shooting from mid-range and he would see plenty of clean looks on Jordan's rolls to the basket. Arthur averaged 13.9 points per 36 minutes with the Denver Nuggets last season.
Defensively, Arthur is a strong positional defender who always gives tremendous effort. The Nuggets were 9.6 points per 100 possessions improved defensively with Arthur on the court.
The Clippers are running short on cap room, so Arthur would have to take something close to the veteran's minimum to join the team. But the allure of a championship run might be enough to sway Arthur.
