The LaMarcus Aldridge sweepstakes have officially entered Day 3, and the 29-year-old is making a second round through the suitors.

Aldridge met with the Los Angeles Lakers for a second time Thursday, and now the San Antonio Spurs want an encore of their own.

The Spurs made an impressive flurry of moves prior to their first meeting on Wednesday, and remain the favorites to score the power forward.

The team managed to reach agreements with Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, while also dealing Tiago Splitter to open up maximum cap room for Aldridge. Their core is fully intact, and they're Aldridge's best shot at winning a championship.

But still, he appears to be legitimately torn by the bevy of choices before him. In addition to the Spurs and Lakers, the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Portland trail Blazers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and Toronto Raptors are all hoping to land the superstar power forward.

The Lakers, Raptors and Knicks are likely out of the race, while the Suns and Spurs are frontrunners.

Portland could still conceivably nab Aldridge because they can sign him to a five-year deal, but all signs point to a split between the two sides. Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard visited his teammate Thursday in hopes of persuading him to stay, but returned Friday to post a rather cryptic tweet that hinted at how things "came to pass."
