The Philadelphia Flyers have signed a capable backup goaltender, landing Michal Neuvirth on a two-year deal.

ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports that he'll make $1.5 million next season and $1.75 million in the year to follow.

Neuvirth boasted a .914 save percentage in 32 starts split between the Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders last season.
