Report: Blazers, Aminu agree on four-year deal
Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - The Portland Trailblazers have reportedly reached an agreement with free agent forward Al-Farouq Aminu on a four-year contract.
The deal, which cannot be finalized until July 9, is worth $30 million, according to multiple media reports.
Aminu, a five-year veteran out of Wake Forest, averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds for Dallas last season. He was drafted eighth overall by the Clippers in 2010 and spent the next three seasons with New Orleans, alternating between a starting and reserve role.
