Garcia (groin) won't make another start until Thursday against the Padres at the earliest, MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch reports.
Analysis:
Garcia suffered from cramps in his most recent start last Wednesday against the Marlins, which halted his throwing program over the last couple of days. Though the fact that Garcia was able to complete a side session Sunday represents positive news, the brief delay will force him out of his originally scheduled start Tuesday versus the White Sox. Despite his progress, it's far from guaranteed at this point that Garcia will be cleared to pitch Thursday. If that's the case, look for Tim Cooney, who was pulled early from his outing at Triple-A Memphis on Sunday, to be the top candidate for a spot start.
