Arenado, who now has eight homers in his last seven games, also set a club record by collecting a hit and a run in 12 consecutive games. Additionally, he's joined some elite Rockies sluggers with his power surge.

The 24-year-old was fourth among eligible third baseman behind Kris Bryant, Todd Frazier, and Matt Carpenter in the latest National League All-Star voting update on June 23.
