  • If you're looking to spend a high draft pick on a quarterback, Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers are the only passers you should be considering in the first four rounds. Aside from being the best players at their position, Luck and Rodgers have the luxury of playing in high-scoring offenses with deep receiving corps. They are as safe as it gets.
  • Ryan Tannehill continues to be one of my favorite targets in mock drafts. The 26-year-old is coming into his own in Bill Lazor's offense, as evidenced by his 4,045-yard, 27-touchdown campaign last season, which also featured 311 rushing yards. Entering his second year in the system, Tannehill has a better supporting cast and should be a lock for a top-10 finish.
  • Tannehill is going off the board in the ninth round, as is Eli Manning, and both represent excellent value. Manning was a consistent fantasy starter down the stretch last season, following the arrival of Odell Beckham Jr. Much like Tannehill, Manning should be far more comfortable during his second season in a high-octane offense. The Giants also added a new weapon in pass-catching back Shane Vereen. Some owners may write Manning off as a boring fantasy player, but that will be far from the truth in 2015.
  • Speaking of boring fantasy quarterbacks, Joe Flacco also occupies a spot near the top of that list. However, that could change this season, with the arrival of new offensive coordinator Marc Trestman, who has an affinity for the pass. The Ravens threw the ball on 55 percent of their plays in 2014, but Trestman's teams have been over 60 percent the last three years. After flirting with 4,000 yards on several occasions, Flacco may finally eclipse the mark under Trestman's tutelage.
  • Carson Palmer is in a nice spot heading into the 2015 campaign, both in terms of his offense and his ADP. The Cardinals boast a quality group of receivers, as well as a pair of talented pass-catching backs, and the improvements they've made to their offensive line could help their veteran passer remain upright. Palmer, who is currently being selected near the end of the 11th round, also gets to avoid one of the matchups with the Seahawks' defense, which will take place after the fantasy season in Week 17. If he can stay healthy, Palmer might deliver QB1 stats for the owner who takes a chance on him.
  • Drafting rookie quarterbacks in fantasy isn't normally the wisest move, however, Jameis Winston could make for an intriguing flier this season. The Buccaneers' offensive line is definitely something to worry about, but Winston is set up with star receivers Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson, as well as a promising young tight end in Austin Seferian-Jenkins. An incredibly easy schedule and a defense that should force the club into shootouts, will make Winston valuable as a streamer.
  • Players who may disappoint this season: Colin Kaepernick (wasn't able to get it done last year, and that was prior to the mass exodus of his offensive line), Jay Cutler (the next time Cutler is benched might be the last time he sees the field in Chicago), Robert Griffin III (his rookie year may have been the best fantasy season we'll ever see from RG3).
