- Ladarius Green has been waiting for his opportunity and now he will get a four-game window to showcase his talents while Antonio Gates serves his suspension. Green is capable of producing top-10 and maybe even top-5 fantasy numbers on a weekly basis. Unfortunately for him, once the suspension ends, Gates will be reinstalled as the starter. If you're willing to use two roster spots on tight ends, both can be had in the late rounds.
- The Eagles' offense is unpredictable week to week, but much like Travis Kelce in Kansas City, the only thing limiting Zach Ertz is his snap count. Several beat writers are forecasting a big season for the 24-year-old tight end, including an increase in usage. Ertz is currently ranked seventh, but he could finish in the top four if everything falls right for him.
- Kyle Rudolph has never topped 500 yards in a season and he's struggled to stay on the field the last two years due to injury. If he's unable to stay healthy this year, he will be branded injury prone and perhaps become a fantasy afterthought. However, even during a hobbled 2014 campaign, there were points where he showcased his ability. Playing in the best offense he's been part of in his young career, Rudolph has TE1 upside at a low-risk price of a 14th-round pick.
- The Bengals' offense could be a very efficient unit and Tyler Eifert just may be the secret weapon they've been waiting to unleash. Eifert was off to a strong start in the season opener in 2014, before shoulder and elbow injuries knocked him out for the remainder of the year. With Jermaine Gresham out of the picture, Eifert will see an increase in playing time. The former first-round pick will be another lottery ticket tight end for owners to gamble on.
- Players who may disappoint this season: Josh Hill (Saints head coach Sean Payton brought the fantasy community back to reality with the news that Hill won't see starters snaps), Charles Clay (may not see many targets in a run-heavy Bills offense), Vernon Davis (his best days may be behind him), Eric Ebron (rookie season is over, but his drops continue).
