Claudio Bravo discusses last year's World Cup, playing on home soil, managers

In a national team that possesses no shortage of geniuses, Claudio Bravo is often overlooked.

Despite wearing the captain's armband and consistently providing Chile with reliable performances, the 32-year-old shot-stopper is often overshadowed by the presence of his teammates, namely Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez.

Nonetheless, Bravo's quick reflexes will be heavily relied upon as Chile seeks to capture its first-ever Copa America title and move on from their tear-jerking conclusion to last year's World Cup.

Here's a selection of quotes from a press conference Bravo gave on Tuesday:

On heartbreaking exit at last year's World Cup

The World Cup left us bitter, because some players did not arrive in the best condition. We want to demonstrate, as we did in Brazil 2014, that we are a very strong team. I think we can improve so that we do not lack what we lacked in Brazil, and go further. We are a team that works hard and knows their strengths and weaknesses, and continue to demonstrate on the pitch that we are a powerful team.

On the pride of playing at home

Playing in a tournament like the Copa in your country is a privilege. We know we always have the support of the people in the Copa. We come with great joy and tremendous pride to wear this shirt. We are a source of happiness and oblivion for people, instead of worrying about news and problems (in their lives).

On managers Jorge Sampaoli, Luis Enrique

Jorge Sampaoli and Luis Enrique are very detailed and hardworking, and I have been fortunate to have very good managers.
