Guy Fieri: 'Couldn't make a dish hotter than Curry,' may name recipe after Steph

Here's a little known fact about Steph Curry: While he was born in Akron, Ohio, and raised in Charlotte, N.C., he actually lists Flavor Town as his place of permanent residency.

The Golden State Warriors superstar cooks up offense so well that Drake felt the need to create the moniker Chef Curry on "0 to 100," something the Curry family has embraced in their own kitchen. The heat he brings every night has also caught the attention of another Drake shout-out - this time from "6 Man" - in the form of Guy Fieri.

The Mayor of Flavor Town and the coolest man on the planet, Fieri, was in attendance for Game 1 of the NBA Finals as the Warriors topped the Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime. As if it were an episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," Fierie got an up close look into the prep kitchen as Curry warmed up for the game. The celebrity chef was thoroughly impressed:

San Jose Mercury News caught up with Fieri after the game to see how Curry's wears hold up against some of the spiciest in the world. Not only did Fieri pay respect - real recognize real, after all - he admitted that Steph Curry is actually hotter than Fieri's own curry.

"You couldn't make a dish hotter than Curry," Fieri said. "With Steph, it moves straight to chili flakes. He reaches heat that is incomprehensible."

Not only does Curry get himself the greatest endorsement an athlete, or human, could ask for, he may also get a recipe made after him in Fieri's upcoming family cookbook.

"Don't be surprised if there's something called Steph's Curry," Fieri said.

Curry wasn't even all that spicy by his own standards in Game 1. He finished with 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting and dished eight dimes, but he was 2-of-6 from outside. Those numbers are great, but Fieri may want to load up on Tums for Game 2 in case things get even hotter.
