VIDEO: Riley Curry skips presser, does victory dance
The MVP of the NBA playoffs to date did not make her presence felt after a big Game 1 victory to tip off the NBA Finals.
While regular season MVP Steph Curry was being asked about the Golden State Warriors' victory, in which he scored 26 points and dished eight dimes, his biggest critic was nowhere to be found. His two-year-old daughter Riley, the star of earlier playoff pressers, opted not to accompany dad.
"She's here," Steph said when asked of her whereabouts. "Don't worry. She's here."
And she was around, parading around the locker room area in a Warriors T-shirt, headphones, and swag. Riley's victory dance is nearly as cute as her performing her father's hand gestures before and after games.
Given Riley's growing celebrity, it's little surprise that Steph was asked if she'll be present for media availability moving forward.
"You nosy," teammate Andre Iguodala interjected, before Steph confirmed Riley will "probably" make an appearance at some point in the finals.
We can only hope.
