Jack Warner actually thinks there's going to be a World Cup hosted by the United States in 2015.

The disgraced former FIFA vice president released a video Sunday where he criticised the United States and the motive behind their investigation into the rampant corruption within FIFA, citing an article from satirical publication The Onion as the basis for his argument.

Warner, who was arrested Thursday by Trinidad and Tobago authorities in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice's investigation, discussed an article titled, "FIFA Frantically Announces 2015 Summer World Cup In United States.”

His primary argument is that the investigation is revenge for the country's failure to secure the hosting rights for the 2018 World Cup, which was awarded to Russia in 2018, and to clear the air about claims he received bribes during his years with the football governing body.
