President Obama joins Twitter, doesn't follow Cubs
If U.S. President Barack Obama thought he could just waltz onto the Twitter scene and follow every professional Chicago sports team but one, he has another thing coming.
The president, using the Twitter handle "@POTUS" has been granted a personal account for the first time since taking office.
Obama sent a single tweet, while following every professional sports team in the state but one: the Chicago Cubs.

Granted, it's public knowledge the president is a hardcore Chicago White Sox fan, so maybe this was a statement. Probably not, but maybe.
Either way, the Cubs noticed.
@POTUS We're big fans of America. Just saying. #YouMissedATeam

But wait, there's more. There's another professional sports team in Chicago Obama didn't give love to, and they're expecting some support.
Hey @POTUS after you follow the @Cubs you still have one more Chicago pro team to follow. #ChicagoSports #ChiSky pic.twitter.com/8Gu40r9WcQ
