It was a controversial call by NHL standards, but not according to the IIHF.
The Czech Republic scored to cut Canada's lead to 2-1 late in the second period of their semifinal matchup at the World Championship on Saturday, but the goal was immediately waved off because Czech forward Petr Koukal was deemed to be in the crease.
