MLB Statcast measured Giancarlo Stanton's latest blast at 475 feet, but there's a good chance the ball still hasn't landed.

The Miami Marlins slugger drilled Mike Bolsinger's 85-mph cutter out of Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, clearing the bleachers and hitting the awning in the left-field pavilion before exiting the park at a batted ball velocity of 114 mph.

Stanton's homer is the third furthest-hit this season, according to Statcast, behind Nelson Cruz (483 feet) and Josh Donaldson (481 feet).

"That was amazing," Dodgers pitcher Dan Haren said. "If anyone is going to do it, it's him. It doesn't surprise me really. That was pretty impressive. It happens a lot in batting practice, but it's different during the game. The weather cools down. It's quite a bit tougher."

The massive first-inning blast was Stanton's eighth of the season and turned out to be the Marlins' only run in a 11-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. It's the fifth homer to ever leave Dodger Stadium:

Date Player Distance
08-05-1969 Willie Stargell 506 feet
05-22-1999 Mark McGwire 483 feet
09-21-1997 Mike Piazza 478 feet
05-12-2015 Giancarlo Stanton 475 feet
05-08-1973 Willie Stargell 470 feet

Stanton has six home runs of at least 460 feet since the beginning of last season, according to ESPN Stats & Info, which is three more than the entire Toronto Blue Jays team has hit over that span.
