Green on Warriors' loss: 'Bay Area's just been hit by an earthquake'

The Golden State Warriors lost a home game on Tuesday.

That's an enormous shock, as the Warriors had dropped just two home games all season long, playoffs included, to that point.

It is not, according to Draymond Green, a shock that should be met with a similar reaction to the one in The Rock's latest film, when California is rocked by an earthquake and The People's Champ lays the smackdown on an earthquake. Or something.

Ever the fantastic quote, Green reflected on Tuesday's series-evening loss to the Memphis Grizzlies by suggesting any Chicken Little's take a deep breath.

"Nobody expects us to lose a game at home," Green said. "Now the whole world has collapsed, the Bay Area's just been hit by an earthquake. Everything's going wrong. We'll be just fine."

The Warriors are going to remain confident in the wake of a single loss. The confidence of a 67-win team isn't shaken so easily, and they're unlikely to shoot 6-of-26 from outside enough times for Memphis to pull off the upset, even with the surprisingly early return of Mike Conley.
