  • Rob Gronkowski stands alone as the only fantasy tight end worthy of being selected in the first round. Gronk is a matchup nightmare for defenses and even the looming Brady suspension isn't likely to slow him down much, if at all.
  • We'll have to wait to find out exactly how the Seahawks plan to use Jimmy Graham, but he instantly becomes their best receiving threat. Injuries caused Graham to slip back to the rest of the tight end pack, but he still posted almost 900 yards and double digit touchdowns in 2014.
  • Travis Kelce is poised to make a major jump up the rankings this year. Kelce's snaps were limited a year ago, presumably because he was still recovering from a knee injury suffered during his rookie season. His usage went up as the season went on and he averaged 7.5 targets per game over the final month. Hopefully the Chiefs have realized the kind of weapon they have in Kelce.
  • Jordan Cameron will finally get a chance to experience what it's like to play with an above average NFL quarterback, as he suits up for the Dolphins. Cameron is an excellent receiving tight end, but his concussion history makes him a risky pick.
  • Julius Thomas will be out to prove he was not just a product of Peyton Manning-led offenses. The drop-off from Manning to second-year passer Blake Bortles will be significant and is enough to send owners looking elsewhere for a starter at the position.
  • Players who may surprise this season: Owen Daniels (signed on with the Broncos to potentially replace Thomas), Josh Hill (was productive in the past when filling in for Graham in New Orleans), Tyler Eifert (returning after elbow and shoulder surgeries), Kyle Rudolph (should be completely healthy this season in an offense on the rise).
