LISTEN: Warriors get playoff anthem from rapper E-40
Kelley L Cox / USA TODAY Sports
Perhaps inspired by Iman Shumpert and his Cleveland Cavaliers playoff anthem "The Offs," Bay Area rapper Earl Stevens (a.k.a. E-40) took to the mic to lay down something similar for his Golden State Warriors.
E-40 remixed his own song "Choices (Yup)" for the anthem, in which he gives shout-outs to nearly all the Warriors – tough luck Shaun Livingston, Justin Holiday, Festus Ezeli and Marreese Speights (seriously, he couldn't work Speights in there? His name rhymes with Golden State!).
Anyway, those glaring oversights aside, it's not bad.
But we still prefer Shump's.
