Okafor, 7 Kentucky players highlight early entry list for 2015 NBA Draft

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA released the early entry list for the 2015 NBA Draft on Tuesday, revealing the 48 college underclassmen and 43 international players under 22 years old who, along with graduating NCAA seniors, will make up the 2015 draft class.

Players had until Sunday to declare for the draft and have until June 15 to withdraw their names from consideration. College underclassmen don't effectively have that much time, as they risk losing eligibility by participating in the combine or in pre-draft workouts.

A new joint proposal is looking to change the rules for eligibility and draft declarations, but that's at least one season away.

As it stands, these 91 players make up the pool, joined by an endless number of seniors, but only maybe 50 who can be considered legitimate draft prospects.

There were few surprises on the list, as most marquee players had long since declared their intentions. Among the surprises declaring were Chris Walker (read more), J.P. Tokoto and Trevor Lacey, while the decisions by Kris Dunn and Jakob Poeltl to return to school were somewhat unexpected.
