The Ottawa Senators are adding a little punch to the lineup.
Chris Neil will suit up for Game 3 Sunday against the Montreal Canadiens, marking his first game since Feb. 24, head coach Dave Cameron confirmed.
The pugilist has been out of the lineup with a thumb injury, and in an attempt to preserve what had been a winning formula for Ottawa down the stretch.
Down 0-2 in their series with the Canadiens, however, the Senators are in need of a spark, and are hoping Neil can provide it.
In 38 regular season games, he scored four goals and added three assists with 78 penalty minutes.
Neil will replace Alex Chiasson, who recorded two shots on goal through the first two games of the series.
