Phoenix Suns point guard Brandon Knight underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle Friday, the team announced.

After Knight was acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks on Feb. 19, the injury limited him to 11 games.

Knight said he couldn't be happier with the way the organization has dealt with the situation.

"I like it here and I like the way I've been treated so far, top-class organization," Knight said. "I'm looking forward to a future with the Suns."

Before his season-ending injury, Knight was having a year to remember. Despite playing in only 63 games, he shot 42.2 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from 3-point range - both career highs.

He was also on pace for other career marks, averaging 17 points per game, 5.2 assists and 3.9 boards.
