Bruins' Chara listed as day-to-day after blocking shot with foot

This isn't what the Boston Bruins need as the final week of the regular season begins.
Captain Zdeno Chara was noticeably absent from practice Monday, and head coach Claude Julien later revealed the hulking defenseman is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
The injury is believed to be related to a blocked shot registered during Saturday's win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, after which Chara appeared in discomfort despite remaining in the contest.
The Bruins are off until Wednesday, and the hope is Chara will be sufficiently rested in order to help his club clinch a playoff spot.
