Gerald Christian has earned a dubious distinction.

The Arizona Cardinals selected the Louisville tight end with the final pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, making him Mr. Irrelevant.

As with any Mr. Irrelevant, Christian's odds of making the Cardinals main roster are slim. That said, Arizona isn't the deepest team when it comes to tight end, giving Christian a shot to make a name for himself in the offseason.

John Carlson and Troy Niklas, who was a second-round pick a year ago, figure to get most of the playing time in 2015. Christian may have to earn a living on special teams and prove he is worthy of a spot in Arizona's deeper offensive packages.
