6:59 p.m. ET - Denzel Valentine rolled his ankle pretty badly after getting fouled at midcourt. Limped around pretty badly after getting up, but he'll shoot his free throws.

6:57 p.m. ET - While Michigan State's bigs are in foul trouble, Jahlil Okafor doesn't have a foul against him. 1:52 to play in the first half.

6:54 p.m. ET - The stat sheet rarely shows it, but Amile Jefferson is so valuable to this Duke team. Works hard to force a turnover there. Leads to a three for the Blue Devils.

6:53 p.m. ET - Branden Dawson hasn't been great at the offensive end, but he did just make a great block on Grayson Allen. It was all for not though, as the ball stays with Duke and Jahlil Okafor gets fouled.

6:20 p.m. ET - Michigan State is really making Duke work at the defensive end - particularly Okafor. Trying to tire out that vaunted Blue Devil offense by making them run around in their own end.

6:17 p.m. ET - Mike Krzyzewski fixes the Jahlil Okafor issue right out of the gate. The ball gets to him in the lane out of the timeout and he scores after a quick spin towards the basket.

6:16 p.m. ET - Tom Izzo gave a slew of free tickets out to Michigan State alums, including Magic Johnson and Mateen Cleaves. They must be loving what they're seeing.

6:14 p.m. ET - Michigan State ahead 14-6 at the under-16 timeout. The Spartans are shooting the cover off the ball from deep. Duke hasn't really forced the issue with Jahlil Okafor. His first touch in the box came on that last possession and he drew a foul on Gavin Schilling. The Blue Devils need more of that. Spartans are thin up front.
