Big Baby receives flop warning after incident against Warriors
Leandro Barbosa used Twitter to call it.
Well, anyone watching probably called it.
While the officials on the court called it incorrectly, the NBA has now also called it: Glen Davis flopped egregiously against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.
Davis hit the deck hard as Barbosa drove past him and pushed off a bit, drawing an offensive foul call on the Warriors guard. It was good for a laugh, and Barbosa's online jab shows he wasn't too upset about it since his team took the victory.
The league issued Big Baby a flop warning for the play, meaning the next time Davis is found flopping, he'll receive a $5,000 fine.
While this situation seems to mostly be good fun, it'll be interesting to see if it leads to an issue when the teams meet again on March 31. These teams really don't like each other, something that dates back to last year's playoffs, so it doesn't seem as if it will take much to reignite tensions.
