The Splash Brothers grab all the headlines in Golden State, but don't overlook their depth.

Case in point: Point guard Shaun Livingston supplied a season-high 21 points off the bench to propel the Warriors to a 106-98 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

Livingston also chipped in with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in a well-rounded effort.

The Clippers came out strong and managed to keep it close through a half. Playing in their 12th game without Blake Griffin (who is slated to miss at least another two games), the Clippers leaned heavily on Chris Paul to generate offense.

However, as the Warriors are wont to do against the Clippers, head coach Steve Kerr pitted Klay Thompson on Paul to great effect. Thompson's size advantage and dutiful defending helped hold Paul to 14 points on 7-of-17 shooting and five costly turnovers.

With Paul kept in check, the Warriors made their push in the third quarter. They built up a 19-point edge by the end of it, which prompted both head coaches to empty their benches for most of the fourth.

Livingston's and Thompson's strong play helped the Warriors weather an off night by Stephen Curry, who finished with 12 points on 3-of-9 shooting. Thompson was excellent, breaking out of a shooting funk with 21 points on 9-of-13 from the floor.

Curry, did, however, drop a ridiculous rainbow 3-pointer on the Clippers.

The win pushes the Warriors ahead 2-1 in their season-series against the Clippers. Last summer, Golden State eliminated the Clippers in a thrilling seven-game series.
