Nuggets players already counting down until the offseason
Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports
The Denver Nuggets have struggled through another disappointing season under coach Brian Shaw, slogging along to a 20-38 record after some believed they might have an outside shot at the playoffs.
There may be more than a quarter of the season remaining, but sitting 11.5 games behind the eighth-place Oklahoma City Thunder, it sounds like the players are already thinking about the offseason.
The team broke a fourth quarter huddle during their blowout loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday by chanting: "1-2-3 ... six weeks!" according to The Denver Post's Christopher Dempsey.
As in, six weeks until vacation time.
That'll surely encourage the already dwindling Nuggets crowds to come out and support their lackluster team.
