Report: Jameis Winston impressing teams in combine interviews

With an incredible on-field skill set, off-field concerns have been the primary factors working against Jameis Winston since he left Florida State and opted to enter the NFL draft.

Though it's still early in the process, and a lot can change in the coming weeks, all indications are that Winston is well on his way to helping his image and proving himself as a player capable of leading a franchise at the next level.

Should Winston continue to impress in interviews - not only at the combine, but on his official team visits, as well - he should quite easily become the favorite to be selected No. 1 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Despite some difficulties with turnovers throughout the 2014 season, Winston's instincts, football intelligence and high-level production in Florida State's pro-style offense have prepared him for the transition to the NFL game.

The 21-year-old's abilities will be on full display at the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, where he's expected to participate in all on-field drills with the rest of this year's quarterback class.
