Woman files lawsuit accusing Saints' Junior Galette of sexual assault
A civil lawsuit has been filed against New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette by a woman claiming he engaged in a litany of abusive behavior towards her, Sean Fazende of FOX Sports 8 reports.
The lawsuit was filed by the same woman who was allegedly assaulted at Galette's home in January. Galette was arrested and charged with simple battery involving domestic violence.
Among the allegations made in the lawsuit is the alleged victim's claim that she was drugged by Galette and his friends while attending a party at the linebacker's home.
The alleged victim also claims Galette gave her "horny juice" and that she was touched and penetrated while unconscious. Galette performed the acts in the presence of others, including teammates, the lawsuit claims.
"We will let the petition speak for itself, but we feel this man is a manipulative predator," Joe Raspanti, the attorney for the alleged victim, told ESPN's Mike Triplett.
