PHOTO: Bryant, Lakers wear 'I can't breathe' shirts
Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and various members of the Brooklyn Nets have all sported warmup shirts that read "I can't breathe" over the last couple days in support of Eric Garner, who died after a New York police officer placed him in a chokehold.
On Tuesday, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers joined the cause before their game against the Sacramento Kings:

Earlier on Tuesday, Lakers legend Magic Johnson said he was pleased that pro athletes were using their platform to support peaceful protests.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver told Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski on Monday that while he respects players for voicing their views on important issues, he would prefer for them to follow the league's rules on on-court attire.
