Brook Lopez on brother Robin: 'An idiot ... a complete moron'

Barring any unforeseen injuries, Brook Lopez and twin brother Robin Lopez will square off on Saturday when the Brooklyn Nets visit the Portland Trail Blazers.

It will mark the first time the brothers have gone head-to-head since March of 2013, and their eighth meeting overall. To date, Robin has a 4-3 edge in wins but Brook has a significant statistical edge.

Go ahead and give Brook the edge in trash-talk, as well. In an interview with the New York Post published on Sunday, Brook fired shots at his floppy-haired twin.

Q: In 25 words or less, personality-wise, what’s the difference between you and Robin?

A: Robin’s an idiot.

Q: You obviously want him to read this.

A: Yeah, yeah. … Robin’s a complete moron.

Brook is, of course, kidding around (both Lopezes attended Stanford), as brothers are wont to do. Hopefully Robin fires some shots of his own ahead of Saturday's showdown.
