Report: Heat not interested in re-signing Michael Beasley due to defense and maturity concerns
Bob Donnan / USA TODAY Sports
This really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone familiar with "Super Cool Beas."
The Miami Heat are not interested in re-signing free-agent forward Michael Beasley this summer because they're concerned about his inconsistency, his lack of trust in defensive schemes and maturity issues, according to a report from the Miami Herald.
These concerns have perpetually dogged Beasley and defined his career. For one reason or another, Beasley has never managed to put his tremendous talent to good use. The Heat gave Beasley a second chance last season, inking him for just the minimum.
