Pierre Jackson suffers Achilles injury in Summer League
This is not the way the #FreePierreJackson movement was supposed to end.
After spending the 2013-14 season bouncing between dominating the D-League and playing overseas, Jackson entered the off-season ready to try to earn a spot in the Philadelphia 76ers rotation.
Unfortunately for Jackson, he reportedly suffered a ruptured right Achillies in his first appearance at NBA Summer League, putting another major hurdle in his way to the NBA.
It may be time to start another hashtag campaign for Jackson. #PrayForPierre or perhaps #FreeHealthPlan would fit more appropriately.
