Report: Price for Sabres' Myers set at 3 pieces and a 1st round pick

John E. Sokolowski / USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Sabres were looking for another first-round selection at the entry draft this weekend and couldn't get any teams to bite. Defenseman Tyler Myers was up for sale, but the price was too high for many.

Myers is playing through a seven-year, $38.5 million contract with an annual cap hit of $5.5 million and a modified no-trade clause that kicks in during the 2016-17 season.
