Carlos Gomez and Mark Reynolds lifted the Milwaukee Brewers offense over the Miami Marlins, 9-5, on Friday.
The speedy centerfielder initially complained to manager Ron Roenicke when he didn't see his name in the leadoff spot on the lineup card, not realizing he was hitting in the four spot.
"It's a really good feeling, you come to the plate like 'I'm the man.' You feel sexy," Gomez said of batting cleanup.
Reynolds was 2-for-5 with two homers behind Gomez, who was 4-for-5 with three doubles.
