Report: Penguins interested in bringing in Pierre McGuire as general manager
Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports
The enigmatic NBC personality Pierre McGuire may be heading to Pittsburgh where he served as an assistant coach through the early nineties.
Reports continue to swirl that McGuire will head to Pittsburgh based on his ties with the organization formed in his early career. The option is open, according to Jimmy Murphy.
I can confirm the Pittsburgh Penguins are interested in Pierre McGuire for their open GM post. Not sure McGuire will interview though.

In terms of not taking the interview if it comes his way, Murphy explains McGuire would feel guilty for betraying recently fired general manager Ray Shero.
As McGuire has told @HunterZThompson and others he prides himself in loyalty and he is a loyal friend and colleague to Ray Shero.
