Further details on Mavs dismissing GM Rosas after 69 days

Slowly, further details on the odd departure of Gersson Rosas are beginning to hit twitter.

Earlier Tuesday, it was announced that Rosas and the Dallas Mavericks would be parting ways, just 69 days after Rosas took over in the general manager's chair.

Rosas, just 35, had originally been targeted by Dallas to improve their scouting and player development efforts. It seems, from the discourse from Stein and others, that his actual role was unclear, and that led to confusion and the aforementioned fit concerns.

It's worth pointing out that Rosas joined the organization after the signings of Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon, two of the team's major offseason moves, so it's almost impossible this could have been performance-related.
